Irresistible…. and easy.

 

Start with these basic ingredients and end with this hot, yummy, chocolate dessert!

 

Hot Fudge Pudding

Sift into bowl:
1 cup sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
¾ cup sugar
2 Tbsp cocoa
Stir in:
½ cup milk
2 Tbsp melted shortening
Blend in:
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Spread in 9” square pan
Sprinkle with mixture of:
1 cup brown sugar
4 Tbsp cocoa
Pour over all:
1 ¾ cups HOT water
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
During baking cake rises to the top and sauce settles to the bottom.  Dip Sauce over cake when serving.  Serve warm with or without whipped cream.
